Women Seventh, Men Fifth To Conclude MIT Invitational

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--JT Barth, Madison Pechulis, and Jaelin Jang all posted wins as the Keene State College swim and dive teams wrapped up competition at the MIT Invitational at Zesiger Pool on Sunday.

Women's Highlights

Kristyn Simoneau, Olivia Pechulis, Sophie Hayes, and Samantha Dickinson comprised the 200 medley relay group that was fourth in the B final in 1:51.73.  Hayes was fifth in the B final of the 100 fly in 59.65, and Madison Pechulis won the B final of the 200 breaststroke in 2:30.60, while Jaelin Jang won the C final of the 200 IM in 2:16.85

KSC finished seventh, totalling 213 points.  

Men's Highlights

Zach Payne, JT Barth, Patrick Doyle, and Eric King made up the 200 medley team that placed fourth in the B final in 1:38.36.  

Quint Kimmel was third in the B final of the 500 free, touching the wall in 5:01.88, while Cam Stinchfield was fourth, in 5:03.69.  King, Andrew Daur, and Payne went 2-3-4 in the B final of the 200 backstroke, with King in 2:02.04, Daur in 2:02.83, and Payne in 2:05.03.  Barth won the B final of the 200 breaststroke, in 2:11.13.

The Owls racked up 344 points to place fifth.
