BRIDGEWATER, Mass.--The Keene State College women's swimming and diving team posted a pair of wins, taking a 114-108 win over Brandeis University and a 141-101 win over Bridgewater State in a Saturday tri-meet. The KSC men fell to Brandeis 152-70 and the Bridgewater State 127-103.
The meet started off with a solid win, as Samantha Dickinson, Madison Pechulis, Sophie Hayes, and Katie Brandeberry combined for a win in the 200 medley relay in 1:55.47. Paige Carey added a second place finish in the 1,000 free in 11:52.08, and Brandeberry picked up solo wins in the 200 free in 2:02.22 and the 200 back in 2:15.48. Hayes also notched a victory in the 200 fly in 2:16.53,
Dickinson picked up a second place nod in the 200 IM in 2:20.60, and a win in the 500 free in 5:36.35. Keene State swept the top three places in the 200 breaststroke, with Madison Pechulis in first place in 2:34.28, just ahead of sister Olivia Pechulis in 2:35.79 and Carey in third in 2:41.39.
In diving, Brianna Feldman won the 1-meter board, scoring 189.65, as well as the 3-meter dive with a score of 185.00.
George Colarullo was the winner on both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives for the second straight week, with scores of 258.50 on the 1-meter and 276.70 on the 3-meter. The three meter score was 10 points off an NCAA regional qualification mark.
Zach Payne was third in the 50 free in 23.44, as well as fourth in the 100 free in 50.91, while Tyler Young was fourth in the 200 IM in 2:08.78. Andrew Daur was third in the 200 back in 2:08.77, and Eric King was third in the 200 breaststroke in 2:22.69.
