Owls Send Seniors Out With Dual Meet Against Bentley

KEENE, N.H.--The Keene State College swimming and diving team honored their seniors in the final home meet of the season against Bentley University on Saturday afternoon.  Seniors Katie Brandeberry, Sophie Freese, and Lauren Arsenault, winners of three LEC Championships thus far in their careers, were recognized before the meet.


Women's Highlights

Madison Pechulis won the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.63, while Sophie Hayes grabbed a win in the 100 fly in 1:02.96.  

The Owls also got a second place finish in the 200 medley relay made up of Dickinson, Hayes, Madison Pechulis, and Brandeberry.  Dickinson was in second in the 100 back in 1:04.96, while also finishing second in the 200 IM in 2:21.74, and Hayes was second in the 200 fly in 2:16.52.  Brandeberry notched a second place finish in the 50 free in 26.19 and was second in the 100 free in 56.66.  

Brianna Feldman took home second place in the 1-meter dive with a score of 181.65, and was third on the 3-meter board in 162.60.

Men's Highlights

George Colarullo won both diving events, taking the 1-meter board in 242.32, and the 3-meter dive in 247.20.  

Zach Payne, Eric King, Jacob Peters, and Tyler Young placed third in the 200 medley relay in 1:44.45, while Eric King placed second in the 200 free in 1:52.92 and third in the 100 breast in 1:07.35.   Quint Kimmel had a pair of third place finishes, in the 1,000 free (11:02.37) and the 500 free (5:24.64)
