  • 220 KSC Student-Athletes Named To Director of Athletics Honor Roll

    KEENE, N.H.--Keene State College Director of Athletics and Recreation Phil Racicot has announced the creation of a new academic honor for student-athletes, entitled the Director of Athletics Honor Roll.   All student-athletes with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or greater are eligible to receive this award.

Women's swimming and diving captured the most votes, which could be cast on Twitter, Facebook and our Instagram story, and defeated their counterpart men's swimming and diving 1,240-869 in the championship.

    PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The Keene State College men's basketball team went 7-of-23 at the foul line and could not hold onto regulation leads of six with 52 seconds left and five with less than 15 seconds to go before eventually losing to Plymouth State University 72-70 in overtime in a Little East Conference tournament quarterfinal game Tuesday night at Foley Gymnasium.

    KEENE, N.H. - The Keene State College men's basketball team will hope the fresh start that comes with postseason play pays dividends in the 2020 Little East Conference tournament after an inconsistent regular season that saw the Owls finish with a 10-15 overall record and just the second losing mark at Spaulding Gymnasium since the 1997-98 season. KSC has won three of the past five league titles, but will be in unfamiliar territory this time around as the No. 6 seed and will play a quarterfinal game tonight (February 25) at third-seeded Plymouth State University's Foley Gymnasium.

    WILLIMANTIC, Conn. - Jeric Cichon and Nick Redden combined to make 7-of-9 shots from long range and score 34 points as the Keene State College men's basketball team clinched a spot in the Little East Conference tournament, leading nearly throughout in a 74-60 win over Eastern Connecticut State University Wednesday night at Geissler Gymnasium. The Owls have won two conference tournament titles on that floor since 2015, but had not won there in the regular season since 2012.

    KEENE, N.H. - Freshman Jeff Hunter poured in a career-high 29 points on 12-of-15 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds as the Keene State College men's basketball team outscored Rhode Island College 27-7 over the final 8:10 to erase a 16-point deficit and snag a crucial 84-80 Little East Conference victory Saturday afternoon at Spaulding Gymnasium.

    PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Little East Conference (LEC) announced a total of 1,772 student-athletes competing in the conference's 19 championship sports were named to the LEC Academic Honor Roll for the fall 2019 semester. To be named the LEC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a semester GPA of 3.00 or better and have been an active member of the team at the conclusion of their fall semester season.

    KEENE, N.H. - James Anozie became the 37th member of the Keene State College men's basketball 1,000-point club, and DeVon Beasley poured in a career-high seven threes and 25 points as the Owls recovered to knock off Little East Conference rival Plymouth State University 83-77 in overtime after seeing a 17-point second half lead vanish in the final 10 minutes Wednesday night at Spaulding Gymnasium.
