Travis Wyant joined the KSC field hockey staff in August 2019.   Wyant came to Keene State from Frostburg State University, in Frostburg, Md., where he spent three seasons on the Bobcats' staff.  

A year ago, Frostburg just missed out on the Capital Athletic Conference tournament, collected all five wins at Bobcat Stadium and finished seventh in the nation with 22 defensive saves. FSU also finished 21st in the country in saves per game (10.79).

Wyant arrived at Frostburg after serving as a student assistant coach at the University of Mary Washington for two seasons. He gained experience in recruiting, game strategy and also post game breakdown and analysis. In his two years with UMW, the Eagles finished with a 28-10 record and ranked 10th in the nation in 2015.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in english with a concentration in writing from Mary Washington in the spring of 2016.
