KEENE, N.H. - Three more home debuts are on tap this week for the Keene State College athletic teams as the second full week of the fall semester rolls in, with field hockey seeing action in Keene on Wednesday and volleyball and women's soccer on Saturday.
KSC field hockey will look to bounce back during a pair of home games this week. The Owls first take on Lasell University on Wednesday, September 4 at 6:30 p.m. before Springfield College visits on Saturday, September 7 for a 12:00 p.m. start.
It is a busy late week for Owl volleyball, with five matches over four days beginning on Wednesday. KSC first travels to Worcester, Mass. for a meeting with Clark University on September 4 at 7:00 p.m., and then goes to Plymouth, N.H. for the first night of the two-day Granite State Challenge on Friday, September 6 where they will take on The Sage Colleges and Rivier University at 6:00 and 8:00 p.m., respectively. Keene State then has their first action of the year in Spaulding Gymnasium the next day, Saturday, September 7, when they will play Elmira College (12:00 p.m.) and New England College (4:00 p.m.)
The Keene State men's and women's cross country teams will go on the road to Leominster, Mass. for their second meet of the year on Saturday, September 7 when Fitchburg State University hosts the Jim Sheehan Invitational beginning at 11:00 a.m.
It's a one game week for men's soccer, who will head to Wheaton College (Mass.) for a 2:00 p.m. start on Saturday, September 7.
The Owls will look to start the home slate on the right foot when they welcome Lasell University to Owl Athletic Complex on Saturday, September 7. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Click here for tickets.
